I wish I had a Rainbow

I wish I had a rainbow
to take me away
On the beautiful clouds
I want to stay.
To sit on a cloud
To view the technicolour
Oh I want to feel safe
Under a cover.
Let the rain come down
And let the sun burst forth
To shine a new day on all of us
South to north.
I wish I had a rainbow
To take me away
To a new life where
all the children play.
