"This urge to help others,
creates such a fervor.
It resembles the love,
to a child from a mother,
for I consider all of you,
my sisters and brothers,
and this disease might try,
but our bonds of fellowship,
cannot break,
and this decision to stay clean,
is one none of us lightly makes.

With our humility in hand,
we realize in recovery,
that what we deemed futile,
is so very worthwhile.

We are becoming better people,
day by day,
and I'm loving every minute,
of what God will say.
We are setting ourselves separate,
apart from hopelessness and dismay,
breaking all our bad habits,
as God shows The Way."
