"God's Way"

"Letting go,
of the past,
broke the spell,
the Devil cast,
and I woke up,
to my life,
that's a dream,
where once,
it was a nightmare,
that made me scream.

All in all,
I relish the fall,
that broke me down,
and every,
stupid wall,
I made so people,
and God,
couldn't get in.
I had to let go,
in order to win.

Getting out of God's Way,
broke though,
the haze,
and the grey,
made it possible,
to see,
light shine through my days.

I won't give God up,
through the good,
and the bad,
the happy,
or sad.
Because He's,
the best gift,
that I've had."
