GONE

Today I open my heart and confessed
And tell you the way I feel about you
Cause we may think that we have a lot of time
To keep putting off the things we immediately need to do

But time don’t give us any more time
If we don’t make use of the time we live in
And once the time has past 
Then no more time is given

Here I am today standing in front of you 
But the time can bring changes, we all know
And if you keep hiding your true feelings for me
 when you need me, I might not be here tomorrow

You may think that a man could never wonder far
Far away from the woman that he adores
But if staying will only bring grieve to his heart
Then he could stop being a dreamer and start following the stars

Then who is going to hold your hands
When time goes, and leave you older
And who arms will keep you warm
When the winter comes gets colder

and who is going to kiss your lips 
and wear your lipstick on their shirt
and who will say you look so nice 
When you wear a new skirt

it’s these simple things in our life 
that we all will need to survive 
and If we don’t pave the road for it now
Then how can we hope for it arrive 

We all need someone
someone, to have and to lean on
and if you keep pushing me away 
One day when you need me, I will be gone

Then who is going to lay next to you
And hug you while you sleep
And who are you going to share it with
The secrets that you keep

and on hot summer days
 who will share your ice cream 
and who is going to comfort you
If you awake from a bad dream

Please don’t push me away 
 that would be so wrong
cause If you miss me one day
you may find that I’m gone 

and every day we are getting older
cause time waits for no one 
and the weather will only get colder
when our youth is gone

but we can write our own story
we can build our own stage
the only thing that matters are love
not our color or our age

I don’t want to waste this change
so please don’t push me away 
Take me in your arms
It’s where I want to stay

I got nowhere to go
with is where you think I belong 
But if you don’t need me now
