Good Fortune

In friendship I've found good fortune,
A blessing from above,
Word's of affirmation uplift my soul,
Displaying the Father's love.
Prayers like fragrant incense,
Are treasured more than gold,
Faith restored from sharing,
The warmth of an open home.
The heartfelt act of kindness,
Conveyed in simple ways,
Knit strong cords of belonging,
That guide me through the day.
I wake each day encouraged,
Released from doubt and fears,
Knowing God has sent you,
To wipe away my tears.
My prayer is very simple,
May I return to you,
The offer of a faithful friend,
Who will always pray you through,
Uncertainties and tempests,
That threaten to erase,
The presence of our Saviour and 
His abounding grace.
May God bless you abundantly,
In all that you pursue,
And know that when you're on your knees, 
I'm praying for you too.
