Good News Everyone
I'm on a quest to discover
If life can mean more than to suffer
There are moments of pure wonder
Like staring into the eyes of your lover
The first snow of the winter
Pulling out a pesky splinter
Winning something you thought destined to lose
Buying yourself a dope pair of shoes
Talking to your favorite musician at their merch booth
Money under your pillow for losing a tooth
The first breaths of your child
Soaking in the sights for awhile
Redesigning your bathroom tile
Working hard and dropping ten pounds
Listening to new songs and discovering new sounds
Throwing in For Honor and leading the team for a few rounds
Finding twenty bucks on the ground
Helping out your grandma
Spending the perfect amount at the shopping mall
Getting a ton of likes on your post
Your best friends wedding, giving the toast
Surrounded by friends and family at a pig roast
So good news everyone, I found a few reasonsĀ
That life can mean joy, is something to believe in!
