Grandma

Grandma

When Granny gets going and starts to unreel,

You’d better find yourself a US Navy SEAL,

She threatened a man to put a bomb under his car,

For parking on her verge an inch too far,

She told me that she’s often wanted to steal,

His cars undercarriage with each and every wheel,

She shakes her fist when the post-boy throws,

Her morning paper into her beds of rose,

With a rolling pin she clocked a fuzzy head,

Which poked through her window whilst she was in

bed,

She’d go to bed with pink rollers and pins in her hair,

To give my Pop a wake-up morning scare,

She didn’t know I was once behind her to see,

Her call my Pop an f’ing old c’,

To the man in front who stands and cheers,

"My Jack will box your bloody ears”,

Yep Granny is made from some sturdy stuff,

And won’t hesitate to tell you when enough is enough.
