Grandma's Bed

The time sadly has come
Where my grandma goes back to where she came from
Heaven.
As grandma laid in her bed
I knew she would be leaving soon
I just couldn’t accept it in my head
That shortly she’d be flying to the moon
Her soul couldn’t hang on anymore
And that's okay, now shes pain free and no longer sore
I hope she lived the best life she could
She deserved the best, as anyone should
Grandma’s bed became a lonely place
She was no longer there, I miss her gorgeous face
I miss everything about her
But sometimes life isn’t fair
Grandma’s bed became empty, alone
Before she left she couldn’t speak
All she could do was gasp for air and moan
She became too weak
She finally let go, she finally let loose
And she left my heart hanging by a noose.
