Gray is

Gray is
All I'll ever be 
All I'll ever feel 
All I'll ever know 

Gray is
My emotionless 
State of being,
Where my smiles  
Remain hidden 
As lost hopeless 
treasures 

Gray  is
The definition of  
my empty 
Defective Heart  
Which fails to 
Comprehend joy,
And refuses to 
Be content with any
form of happiness 

Gray is
Some where between 
The whites and blacks  
Of life, where my mind 
Resides  
And the thoughts 
Of confused loneliness 
Linger 

It's here where 
the eyes of my 
Diminish reflection 
Show the evident empty 
Shades of gray  
That feed off of my 
Futile self pity 

Gray is 
All I'll ever be

All I'll ever know 
Gray is me
