The Gray Ghost

I am the gray ghost

A shadowy apparition

drifting through

this black and white
absolute world

Subtle nuances I see

instead of 
literal reality

These chains
of conformity
demanded by humanity
are just not for me 

For you see

I am the gray ghost
of transparency

flying free

in the open skies
