I am your heart’s caretaker,

a decorator, a love painter,

Day by day, I wander to take back

 Its torn remains,

Place them skillfully

 Into my black coffin,

Later to bury it in

 the depths of my memory,

Only to have to do it

Repeatedly, carefully,

 all again tomorrow
