Grief

Grief

Grief
is when
Epiphany
makes
You
Aware
That
Communication
Is
No
Longer
Accessible
To
A love
one
who
Has passed
Away

Grief
Becomes
A predator
To dreams
And
A
Tormentor
When
You
Awake

Grief
Is not
Subdued
By
Condolence
nor
Does
it
Fade
By keeping
Busy

In the
End
Grief
Is a persistent
virus
That spreads
from
the
Mind
To
The soul
And eventually
Invades
the
Spirit

Grief
Tells
Us
That life
Is not
Infinite
It is cruel
And
Hope
Is just
An
Illusion
that is
Used
As snake oil
To make
Us believe
That there
Is
Meaning
To
Living....
