Gross Negligence

Gross Negligence

You understand nothing and nor do I,
your soul and why birds don't fall from the sky;
I asked for a job once - it was full of nice mystery,
and was told: you even have more experience than me.

Flattered, I walked away rather smiling,
honoured, because Luis Ferreira was something,
white edifices grinned at you with deep grey shadows,
always interesting the way he shaped aboves and belows.

I was told once about purely concept,
they weren't bothered about other, my heart leapt,
so used to precise, rigid format, now I could start to fly,
but God nudges you - there were other things I needed to try.

Someone said: only two jobs on Earth, A & E,
that's architecture and the entertainment industry.
