Guardian Angel

Will you hold my feathery wings when I'm too tired to fly?Β
Or dry the river of glistening azure tears that pour for no reason?
Will you answer my questions, even when I am shouting them?Β
Because there are days I need an ear, days that I need silence,
As I figure out who I am, my angel, my guardian,
Will you be there if I fall into pieces? Even if I stop believing?
Would you leave me? Or would you save me?Β
From the craziness of my thoughtsΒ
I need a white halo or a hand to hold
As I walk across this fallen world, trying not to lose my heart,
Can I survive in the dark? Am I good enough for Heaven?
Will you meet me on the other side?
My guardian angel,
Will you be there?
