Poem -
Gunslinger
Feared and fearless,
rugged beauty
to hide the uglyΒ
lay deep withinΒ
a caged crucified heart.
Cold glinting shot of eyes and ammo,
Innocence murdered.
Quick fidget-less fingers
held dual smoking barrels.
Shadow of the grim reaper
spread beneath booted feet.
Ghosts of vengeful souls
tug at blackenedΒ hair.
Invisible ephemeral hands
grip frigidly at aloof ankles,
dipping into the flowing ebb of living
crowding and condensing intoΒ
clouds which float to feverish dreams...
Bound by immortal duty.
Hunting mercilessly.
