Guyana

Georgetown Guyana Sunday morning
the market bustling with people voices
buying vegetables and other items
a variety of different brands and choices
as the sun shines in the sky
behind the white clouds it glows
and across the land below
the cool tropical breeze blows
a girl walks up the steps
and put her basket on the table
she walks over to the sinkĀ
and opens the kitchen windows
Sheās so radiantly beautiful
Like the morning sun
And when she smiles at you
Your heart will be gone
Her favorite color is is red
Just like a lady in red
And if you saw her picture
You canāt get her out your head
She likes the beaches
To feel the water under her feet
And sheās always so cool
even in the heat
Sometimes sheās so quiet
Lost in her own little world
Sheās the kind of beauty you think of
when ever legends are been told
Even if you're looking at herĀ
pouring her father Guyanese rum in a glass
Everything she does is So graceful
You would just want that image to last
She's loves the country of her heritage
She sits in the gallery shelling peas
As the radio plays songs of the trade winds
She's proud to be a Guyanese
the Kaieteur Falls is the world's largestĀ
single-drop waterfall by volume.
she remembers going there last month
as she today she sweeps the bed room
after she graduates from her study's
she will pursue her future plans
wants to make a change in her country
and bring prosperity and equality to her land
Sheās cooking stew chicken
With curry green peas and rice
And Her cloths got some curry on it
But still she looks so cute and nice
She knows the famous singer terry gajraj
Who is the bob Marley of chutney
And she met the great princess anisha
One of the best singer in the world from her country
She looks like a super model
Even when wearing her oldest dress
She's like a beauty queen
Although her hairās in a mess
She likes to go and watch cricketĀ
at the dummerera cricket park
then she buys her favorite ice cream
and walks home before it gets dark
she comes out the shower
and gets on her bed and close her eyes
and there's a full yellow moon out tonight
high up above in the clear Guyana's sky's
And walking around some where
Is the luckiest man in the world?
And that person will be whose ever
Gets the heart of this Guyanese girl
I donāt think i have chance with her
So I wonāt even bother to try
So I will just write this poem
End it and say goodbye
