Poem -

HALF N HALF

Well you took the risk and we pay the price
We took all our hits, we asked ourselves why
She believed in you brother, but you pushed it too far
Life's a loaded gun, on a loose display rack

We try to find our reasons
Drinking our coffee black
Better get to the store, before you run out of half and half

You sold everything but not your pride
Your fathers worthless records, that olds '75
We carry our lot of treasures, just to sell them off
We build a life on emptiness and pride, grow old just to downsize

We try to find our reasons
Drinking our coffee black
Better get to the store, before you run out of half and half
