Poem -

Hall Monitors

Hall Monitors

There are
alot
Of hall
Monitors
In the
World
Today

You know
The ugly
Ones
Cold pale
Hands
Preaching
To
Us how
To
Think
Speak
And
Take
Responsibility
For
our
Own
Privilege

I remember
The
Kind
As
A child
They
Were
Always
Angry
At
The
Bullies

so much
To the point
That when
They were
Given
A little
Authority
They became
The
Bullies

the evangelists
of tolerance
Evolved
Into
The poster children
Of intolerance

The pigs who
Decided to
Stand

The enlightened
proletariat
Thst smells
Of a self made
Bourgeoisie

Makes me
Want to
Wear
A Red baseball
Hat
And
I don't even
Like
The guy
 And
then
Drink
A coke
From
A plastic
Straw
And
Discard
It
On
The
Street
When
I am
Finished

Why?

Because I can
And
Snot nose
GRETA
THERE IS NOTHING
YOU
CAN DO ABOUT IT....

HI Greg...I could not help but hear Taylor Swift's song, "You Need to Calm Down" as I read this...as she talks about this same thing in that song....There are so many protests today, but not enough people standing up for what is important and can make a difference....just wanting to be controlling and take away any one else's freedom to think.  They are like adult hall monitors...lol  Thanks for sharing. xo ;)
