Halloween

Halloween

It's a dark dark night,
When creatures start to creep,
Where ghouls wake from sleeping,
And witches find their sweep,

Goblins hunt a plenty,
And spiders bait their webs,
This is the night when children,
Should all stay in their beds.

Make sure to carve your pumpkin,
And place in it a light,
For this will keep the ghouls away,
And stop you from having a fright.

It's only on one day a year,
But one day is all it takes,
For creepy crawlies to jump on you,
And give you all the shakes.

Be sure to leave your light on ,
On your bedside table,
As the boogeyman is out tonight,
And will scare you if he's able.

But if you're good and do as you're told,
Then you will sleep well,
But if you don't then you'll get scared,
And have a tale to tell.
