Halloween

Outstretched limbs reach for my head to carve a new face with a look of the dead.
Halloween comes October each year, along with a story that ENTRAILS the costumes they wear.
Pumpkins carved with a look of the dead, by limbs of the people who then lit up my head.
Silhouettes depicting the scariest of scenes; dancing to the Devil’s nefarious schemes.
Candlewick burning oranges and red, with the smell of the wax filling me with dread.
They sat me on the porch when darkness showed, that’s when they came, the candy-grabbing horde.
Halloween night came to a frightful end, but there’s always next year when it happens again!

Hi, Sparrowsong
Yeah, Halloween and Christmas are my fave times of the year. Last year I carved a dragon head and the Batman logo into pumpkins for my nephew and niece!
Thanks
