HANNAH SZENES

Rise

Mourning came across that marching sky
while writing upon feathers drifting within that steel claw
hearts defended against this stubborn thorn
seeds planted inside and before
Silence gathers in a crowded noise
13 STARS LAID OUT FOR SLAUGHTERS CHARMS
Weep the flesh as bark crumbles

Flickering Turns a short chapter
and heaven gapes
the saints Return
