Poem -

happy memory and the smell of leaves

Going in the woods today,

Snapping twigs and branches that break,

A muddy puddle is a muddy swamp lake.

In the mud I sink, can't move.

Sticky thick mud,

Lost in allude.

Then I reach my magical stick,

My dad carved patterns beautiful and thick.

It will save me from sinking, not stuck but safe,

Giving me power to overcome the swamp lake.
