Hart Of The Sea

Hart Of The Sea

sorrow hidden in the depths of dark

shadow’s thin under the eyes of sky

               kind blue lanterns

search for the source in unrelenting tides

carefully imprisoned pain never to be released on gentle waters

     ocean plays pretty things

 Rats repetition lightened anima

Wolf’s song softened jaded thoughts

An Adder’s strike brings forth laughter

 The attempt

  A most precious gift

Dearest hart I will miss you

As you journey across the sea

In search of what you do not yet know

Even if the words never leave my lips

   To dance through your memories

Perhaps you will return my hart

            Before you go

                          to see your beautiful smile

    once more

after earth rages in anguish

and haven crumbles to distant remnants

 I pass through time

a wisp falling into an everlasting sleep
