Hating You

Hating You

Hating you has made me realise that i love you.
That maybe when you’re gone i might just miss you.
Hating you has made me find myself,
Because in hating you I needed a reason to do so.
Hating you has been so easy.
You make my blood boil and you drive me crazy.
Every word I bite back and scenario I imagine,
where I speak my mind Is another reminder,
that I have something to fight for after all.
Hating you has made me respect you a little,
because you don’t hide behind false pretences;
every button you press and fuse you set off within me,
Is real and raw.
You don’t batter your eye lids and smile deceptively
I hate you respectfully
