Paradise

Paradise

No warmer gift than snow:
more beautiful than a fire’s glow.
Id’e rather freeze in god’s paradise
than be comforted by nature’s timid eye.
snow: shines brighter than gold,
a luxury rarer than all the sacred stones.
Encaptivates you physically yet also causes memories to unfold.
Suddenly your childhood freezes your toes,
and every pleasant winter moment bites at your nose,
and as your skin turns red as you go cold,
you know that when it’s snowing you are never old

The fish of the sea

What a write. Casually awesome and in some intelligent way, spiteful. Enjoyed the read Raquel. Kind regards. The Fish of the Sea

Thank you very much fish, I think in some way there is a seed of some un graspable Concept between the lines of my poem. I wrote this with only the beauty of winter as my inspiration but somehow the poem has some deep underlying meaning that even Im unsure of what I was trying to convey. Spiteful is an interesting suggestion. Lol. Anyway hope your doing well (:
