Haunted

Followed by the shadows in my mindĀ
Eating at the white threads of happiness
That keeps my heart beating just above the line

As the teeth of rages gaping mouthĀ
Swallows me whole and spits me back outĀ
I can never rest, pain follows,Ā

Its visage is everywhere, in every mirror I look,
Cold and dark as it sucks the life out of all the stars
I scream, praying for death to take me instead.Ā

Basically, we all coexist with a form of brokenness.

That makes a lot of sense, I feel shattered, my psychologist calls it de-realisation or disassociation,Ā  I call it the broken man. That's what I am.

It's the soul and the physical self in conflict.Ā
