Have you ever?

Have you ever watched the missing half of you, 
the only thing that's ever made you whole instead of shattered and broken into a million pieces, 
the only person you couldn't put any barriers up to gaurd yourself from being hurt by in the end, 
the only person that knows everything about every second you've been on this cruel world, 
the one thing you gave every last fiber of your being to, 
the one person that knows you better than you know yourself, 
the only thing that YOU,  yourself gave the power to completely destroy you, 
made yourself completely vulnerable to, 
the only thing in this world that makes you, 
YOU... 

Have you ever felt the anguish and torment fade into nothing more than a nightmare you can barely recall, 
as only one thread reunites all that was broken, 
the fullness you feel within your very soul, 
as you are made whole once more? 

Have you ever felt the only thread holding you together begin unweaving itself, 
watching as piece by piece you begin to fall apart, 
every last  remnant shattering into millions of microscopic shards as they cascade to the ground, 
until once more, YOU are nothing more than a speck of dust to be swept up and thrown away, 
long forgotten, 
no longer worthy,  even as a far distant memory, 
because not even God himself could begin reconstructing or rebuilding anything as obliterated as that... 

Have you ever watched your very own existence crumble and fade away into absolutely nothing right before your very eyes, 
every last trace of your time on Earth all but demolished in the blink of an eye???
