They say everybody needs help,
that we all need somebody.
So they say.
But who's really there for you,
to support and care as you always do for them.
And don't you dare say friends,
many use that word too loosely.
Some just like the idea of having a friend whether than really being one,
think about it.
He say, she say.
Yet when you do reach out for help all there is to find is yourself.
Ask yourself,
who gives you the support, courage, and strength you need?
You so busy trying to please everybody else,
but who takes care of you?
So it may be true,
everybody needs somebody but who is that somebody.
When you can't go home,
who'll be there to lift you up?
I'll be there is what he said, I'll be there is what she said.
But who's really there to help carry on.
