Reminiscing

Reminiscing

To my dearest cousin,
Andrea Marie Brady.
A friend, a sister, a daughter,
and much more.
Hope you're listening...
People say time heals all wounds,
that someday the pain will subside.
Yet as I look back on all the moments,
and laughter we both shared.
Times when we would both pour up a shot of tequila.
And bust out in tears.
L.O.L,
I remember it like yesterday.
You were so full of life.
A smile that'll bring joy to anyone,
especially the kids.
I just cant help but think,
you had so much life to live.
However,
it may sound selfish of me.
I've come to learn.
Goodbyes aren't forever,
they aren't the end.
They're the means to "I miss you"
until we meet again.
