Poem -

Healing

I loved you so
With all I had in me
Now that it’s over it hurts

I wanted more time
Needed to rewind
Bring you closer to me

Now I must learn
Now I must start
To see a life without you

It won’t be easy
Nothing ever is
But I will do it still

If you ever need me
You know you’ll find me
In the place where we last seen

The stars, they were shinning
The light, it was blinding
I wouldn’t trade it for gold

I will make use of all that you taught me
And use it to heal myself

One day we’ll meetΒ
And our hearts will greet
For now, we’re back to ourselves.
