Heartbeat

My heart could beat a thousand times one thousand beats a day,
But they would not be worth one beat without you there to say
'You are my dear, my lovely one, the wings with which I fly.
'You are the one I want to spend my days with 'til I die.'
So when I spend one heartbeat, and it's just us two,
It is worth much more to me than thousands without you.
