Hearts in flames

You and me
Not on the same page
Your eyes burning
Full of rage

When did it get so wrong
When did it turn to hate
When did love turn sour
Every word spoke, a debate

You and me
Every bad word said
Awake at night
Next to a stranger in bed

Silence so loud
No eye contact
Trivial rows,
shouting the facts

Angered hearts
Placing blame
You and me
Will never be the same

I feel your pain and disappointment in this piece. Love has a way of falling apart sometimes that still makes us wish we could go back to the way it was before, to the way it was at the beginning. Unfortunately its impossible turn back time.
