Help Wanted

How can you help someone else, when you can barely help yourself
Maybe my life isn't as bad as the cards they were dealt,
Didn't realize it was wrong, excuse me for having a heart
What we do effects others, we all play a part
Shouldn't we make an effort if we expect the world to change,
If we don't start with ourselves, don't you think we should be blamed?
Maybe you needed help and no one offered a helping hand
It's not a good feeling, so why not do what you can
You might not be able to help the whole world, but you can effect someone's life
So why not help and influence others, just by being nice
