Her Hidden Castle (music video poem)

HER HIDDEN CASTLE

 
Splashed with fervor and dancing with joy,
playing with an understanding those days,
that seemed lost just like her favorite toy
and who's to say she lost it anyway.
 
Passionate prowess and prosperity
had housed romance but brought her misery,
but who's to really know what set her free
from being bound in her sanctuary.
 
In there she most loudly rattled her chains,
but to no avail that someone could hear
her soft whimpers while someone held the reins
and friends she never seen over a year.
 
She grew a great garden around her cell
of multi-roses which always did bloom.
Not everyone noticed but some could tell,
that she wasn't ‘cause of her groom.
 
A hidden castle much built for a queen
of high boulders walls that sheltered her so.
No one knew what went on behind the scene
where days had passed was she wanted to go
 
away from these walls on a destined horse,
where she would travel for days without end,
until her heart would find a true new source,
that would lead her to her comforting friend.
