Poem -

Her Him.

You see, she wanted someone to look at her like that.
To think the things he does about another her.

She desperately wanted someone to think of her fondly.
To say her eyes reflects their future in them.
To say her smile could light up any room, and make any heart flutter.

To say her laugh is one blessed by angels.
To want to drag their fingers through her silky hair,
and admire her smooth, milky skin.

To look into her eyes, and take dangerous glances at her lips, before pulling her into a sweet, tender and unforgettable kiss.

To have someone to feel safe in their arms,
To have someone willing to die for her, but they live only for her.

To make her laugh, and smile.
To blush, and whisper sweet nothings to.

She just wanted Her Him.

Katina Woodruff...

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your poem.

I'm glad I found your page. I'm Katina, by the way. I became a member mid-December and I have not left since. Part of the creative process, is getting the story on paper, then we go back to see what we could change to make the poem / prose better. I think you have done a terrific job in the first draft. I couldn't help but notice that you may extend the poem (to add more specific details). Just one idea. Okay, thanks for posting your poem. I hope you have as much fun at Cosmofunnel as I have. Have a terrific day filled with new words and new modes of inspiration.
