Her Reoccurring Dream

Under the cover of this moonlight far from home
Pondering in despair for a love that will never be
She has given up so much as tears roll down her milky white cheek
Will her heart ever mend or be permanently damaged for all to see ?
As the waves come crashing in like cycles in her reoccurring dream
Gazing out into the great beyond with no hope in sight
Longing for someone to rescue her before the knife takes a bite
Bowing down with her hands raised high ,please God save me from this plight

Hey Cleo one of my favorite lines in the whole poem. I like writing from a woman's perspective but sometimes my thoughts come out through her . Cheers rock
