Her Storm
The Australian Bush Fires

Pray for an Ocean to dampen her skin,
a hellfire of torment is locking us in.
She breezes our country that's weathered and worn,
without hesitating to burn through each lawn.
A smouldering ember, her tale tells it cruel,
that leaves behind scent as she breaks every rule.
Wish for a miracle that falls from the sky,
to put out her flames that keep breezing on by.
I'ts a game that spells rugged and thrives to cause death,
as our fireman keep battling, inhaling her breath.
God send in an Ocean to drown out the thirst,
so that all of those ashes will soon be reversedĀ
Her heat sunburns fast as she ventures this land,
but the souls that she's taken keep holding each hand.
Call for an Ocean to wander on through,
to help out our heroes and cool her fire blue.
