HIS LOVE CAME DOWN

HIS LOVE CAME DOWN

Oh, I thought I knew
The depths of God's love

And I thought I knew

The love I speak of

But it's far beyond

What do I know?

He says, "Be still, My child

And let it grow. "

I wait, and I listen

As I learn to be still

He holds my heart

In His perfect will

Then the dew of heaven

Begins to fall

Like tiny droplets of rain

What else could matter at all

His love came down

Refreshing my soul

Healing broken places

Where life took a toll

Oh, how great His love

How deep, how wide

How can I know

As I smiled inside
