Hold On

Hold On

In the silence of the night, the moon shines a ghostly light,  the quiet gift we hold on

Where the shadow is no longer, but the closeness is still there

The feather filled pillow no longer has it's shape, naked in the night we breathe for air

From every corner of the room, every crack in the ceiling, the tiny little noise waits upon

The first page is read, then the next and next, until the end of the text a story to be told

In the beginning no one could be found, then the earth came to life and now we all hold on

Let the story be told and shall it enter into spirit, for the dawn must break and tales not common

For the next book I will read will be even scarier than this one, the book shall tremble as I continue to hold on
