Hold Me But Please Never Tell

You see me sitting here,
Trembling in fear,
Crying my eyes out ,
Wondering,
What has become of you?
What am I going to do.
My eyes are to blind to see,
All the horrors you've done to me, So just go,
Cause I don't want to know,
Hold me, love me
Push me, shove me,
Rock the cradle,
Your love is fatal.
You see me sitting here,
Trembling in fear,
Crying my eyes out,
Wondering,
What has become of you?
What am I going to do?
Run your hands through my hair,
A gentle caress so I'll think that you care,
But do you?
What am I going to do?
Hold me, love me,
Push me, Shove me,
Rock the cradle,
Your love is fatal.
There are so many things you've done to me.
Most wove me in your spell,
There are so many things you do to me,
Hold me but please never tell,
Hold me but please never tell.

Hi Heather!  This poem reads like a song…beautiful sad write.  I know that helpless feeling when it just doesn't matter which direction you turn…overcome with emotion…and secured firmly in a love that is destroying your psyche…nevertheless the choice is made to return to the fatality of it all until it is truly over.  Well done!
