HOLY SPIRIT ADORATION CONVENT

HOLY SPIRIT ADORATION CONVENT

Divine intervention sent us to this convent
where peace lies behind high fence walls
three Filipino ' Pink sisters'  live with their full consent
strange insistence beckon; no earthly duty calls.

Weep naught, why be a part of the outside?
main work is prayer; mindful to be quiet
doing what God really wants with pride
here they feel at home and they don't deny it.

The convent lies in the heart of busy city
brings sacramental grace behind bars and still
three sisters vigil ere Lord, joined by laity
pray in Jesus name: " heal those who are ill".

life in a rock tumbler in a monastic cell
feel the breath of God with hidden beauty revealed
they call each other sisters and they're doing well
eternal love of Jesus is strongly sealed.

Come and see the back garden
where roses bloom from Spring to Fall
divergent hues climbing up a brick wall.

Sit outside during the summer in a spot by old trees,
an oasis in the turmoil and tension of daily life
free from toil and strife.
