Home

Iā€™ve always heard home isnā€™t a place.
But the end of that saying always differs.
Iā€™ve heard so many different versions of it; some say itā€™s a feeling and some say itā€™s the company you keep.
But Iā€™ve now realized my version: home isnā€™t a place, itā€™s you.
Iā€™ve never felt more comfortable, at peace, loved, or ā€œat homeā€ than when Iā€™m with you.
Even on my bluest days, just hearing your voice or looking into your eyes makes everything a little better.Ā
As a child I never knew what ā€œhomeā€ was.
I wish I could tell my younger self, that we finally found our home.
