HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

Have you ever tried to wish
That things could be
The way you remembered them
Tucked away in your memory
"Everyone Home For Christmas"
Gathered around the tree
Loved ones you haven't seen for years
Laughing, being carefree
But the winds of time
The seasons of change
The years passing by
Everything's different, rearranged
I can't bring you back
To the way things were
But relive the memories
And the feelings that stir
We're all home for Christmas
Everyone's here
Surrounded by the  memories of loved ones
I dry my tears
