Homeward

Homeward

O’ sail beloved on Mistress Sea
Her briny call beckons thee
I be thy landlubber true
Β But adventure belong to you

I shall bide your return
For only thine heart I yearn
Fickle tis unbias squall
It maybe thy downfall

Amassed tis fallen she’s slain
Pretty little toys to obtain
Waters tis possessive maid
Shipwrecked were many slayed

Hurry home, on seas tranquil
I pray she bodes only goodwill
Scan horizons utterly resound
β€˜Til lover tis homeward bound
