The Host

The Host

It came like a poison seeping through my veins. Its attack instant, yet there was no pain. Its entrance was sharp. Like daggers through my heart. Promising to destroy nothing, yet taking my souls art. My mind altered. My walk was no longer tame. It wanted nothing, besides me. That it did claim. Traveling through nothing, but its dark abyss. Seeing only what it wants me to. My life it has dismissed. Believing what I see. Hearing what it tells me to hear. It would never leave that much is clear. I have breathed in its substance and become sick in its way.
My soul a trophee.
My body for play.
Speaking its deceit. Seeng all it fears. NevrOnce could i question why it has brought me here. Evil is never kind. Now my heart is in a bind. Trying to esacpe, but that was never its design. Here its sickness lies inside of me. Until the next comes along and there it shall be.
