How to save a bee

Children's Poem

How to save a bee

Busy bee
Wasn't feeling so buzzy
He was a sleepy old bee
And his head felt fuzzy
He wondered if he had just ate something funny
Or tired himself out making so much honey
What to do
What to do
''I don't feel so good''!
Busy bee lays down
And so he should!
He needs plenty of rest
And what else?
Can you guess?
A little spoon of sugar
They think it tastes the best
Mix it with some water
And give the bee a sip
Not too much though
Only a bit
Off he goes now
Buzzing and free
That's how to save
A tired old bee

I love the rythm and rhyme. I feel there is lots more to the poem than just a children's poem. The way I like poetry. Thanks for sharing. Love, John
