So tiny, and yet so strong, the wings of life, give flight on a journey of love, that will stay

Let us play a flute of a sweet harmony for the magnitude of a journey, and a safe return home for a nest

The male will mate with his multitude of hummingbird ladies, creating a family for humans to admire from above

So fragile and so strong their hearts adapt to our being, with delight they dance to the music and encourage us at their best

Hummingbird, oh my sweet friend I have, fly, fly, away to your destiny, but don't forget our bond, and our very dear love
