I am the Angel of Death, Death Incarnate

I am the Angel of Death, Death Incarnate

I AM THE ANGEL OF DEATH, DEATH INCARNATE

I am the taker and the harvester,
The Reaper and the murderer,
The deliverer to the undertaker,
A cemetery for the pallbearer,
In this is no pity or glee,
Nor justice nor mercy,
But a doorway to death through which I come to thee,
I beg you dear one, come now and embrace me...

Recall the souls dead, who once were newborn,
Their bones are now ashes - stinking, forlorn,
They were once as you are, in life without care,
Now they rot 'neath the sand in eternal stare.
