Poem -

I Believe

Give me a seed and I will plant it
The sun shall glow upon it and it shall grow
The rain will fall in drops of moisture and it shall drink
I believe in life and death for one thrives as it lives and one shrivels as it dies
The blue of the sky surround’s us in the light of the day
The dark of the clouds surround us in the evening of the night
Let the robin sing in the early spring morning
Let the hoot of the wise old owl call to the moon at midnight
I believe in the stars and the planets in the skies universe
For my shadow has been seen by the moonlight in the alley
Where I was strangled by the scarf of damnation
And I will haunt the atmosphere with my unrested spirit
Until the light that I once believed in touches the souls of the demons that remain
