I can only imagine

I can only imagine a day with no pain a day where I’m not constantly wanting to just curl up
I can only imagine a time where I’m not putting on a fake smile accompanied by an I’m fine

I can only imagine a day where some sort of worry about my future isn’t prevalent
I can only imagine a time where I’m not fighting with myself to just push on because I have to

I can only imagine a day where I feel normal and not like a complete alien
I can only imagine a time where I feel like I can fit in with my peers

I can only imagine

I always find the imagination is the greatest form of escape. I liked this in its honesty and the ability to visualise a better tomorrow. Keep thinking it and believing it will happen. Those better times will arrive. Keep writing. There is power to your words
